Aviation Summer Camp
The AMC Museum’s educational summer camp is for children interested in aeronautics and the U.S. Air Force. The campers will discover the history and science of aviation while applying STEM principals. Learn to fly in a simulator, pre-flight an actual aircraft, and take flight with a Certified Flight Instructor aboard a Cessna 172 from the Dover AFB Aero Club.
Half-day classes are from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. for ages 9 to 11 and 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. for ages 12 to 15. Dover AFB Aero Club flights will be on Tuesdays, weather permitting. Make-up flights will be attempted Wednesday through Friday but are not guaranteed.
Cost is $300 for a week of half-day classes including the flight, t-shirt, and STEM kit. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Children may only attend one class per year.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Classes will be canceled if a minimum number of students have not registered. A full refund will be given if class is canceled and the student cannot attend another.
IF YOU MUST CANCEL, you will only be fully refunded if you cancel more than 30 days prior to the class start date. The class is NOT refundable if you cancel less than 30 days prior to the class start date.
